How to Treat Heartburn Naturally

Having heartburn? Is indigestion ruining your day? Whether it is just bothersome or cumbersome, we have some unbelievable natural ways to get you some relief! Most importantly, you can breathe easy knowing you are not damaging your body like you can with so many of the over-the-counter and prescription drugs. I know, scary stuff, right? Unfortunately, we initially fell into that trap!

Throw away the tums! What? Wait! Not my tums!!! That is exactly what we thought! But it’s true! As the chefs of Triplo G, we love our wine, coffee, tomato sauces, etc. We could not imagine a life where we gave up our favorite things. But when you are suffering, you know you have to make a change. All of the credit goes to our good friend, Rose, who showed us the way to a heartburn free life.

I know what you’re thinking, we were skeptical too! But now we swear by it and so many of our friends and family have been asking us about what we have been doing that we thought it was about time it was shared with all of you too.


GET STARTED: probiotic, prebiotic, stomach formula, aloe juice and apple cider vinegar. Compliment your daily home regiment by adding ginger root, aloe and turmeric capsules for on the go usage. Literally, the day that we took the stomach formula for the first time, Chef Gregorio took a huge sigh of relief. He could feel it cooling the whole way down, ahhhhh! This is what we replaced our tums with and guess what, it is all natural! Do you need instant relief?

WHAT TO DO: I encourage you to start the regiment below and before you know it, you’ll be throwing all of those manufactured poisons into the trash!

MUST DO DAILY: One shot of stomach formula every morning and as needed throughout the day.

Take your prebiotic and probiotic in the morning DAILY!

USE AS NEEDED FOR SOME EXTRA RELIEF: Add aloe juice into your diet throughout the day. Some examples are: add into shakes, dressings, into your drinks. especially juices. Wherever you use a liquid in cooking or drinking consider substituting in some aloe juice. It can also be taken as a shot.

Apple cider vinegar drinks, I know it does not sound delicious, but it works. Mix a little honey in to help with sweetness if you’d like. But just stir in a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in with some water and chug it down. Great news, this is also a great drink to help with your energy levels. Just like the aloe juice, you may want to consider using apple cider vinegar in your recipes as well.

CAPSULES ARE CONVENIENT: Ginger root, aloe and turmeric are all helpful when trying to relieve heartburn. I would use these to complement your daily regimen and they are very easy to use when you are traveling or just out for the day. Stash some at work, in your car, wherever you can get to them to help you get through the day.

  1. Deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) is my favorite natural heartburn remedy. Licorice and aloe are mucilage, a substance produced by plants that helps coat and protect against acid.
